Manually Controlled:
Manually controlled Natural Gas Vent-Free logs allow you control the logs from the logs burner assembly. Turning the unit on/off and adjusting the flame height is done by physically turning the knobs on the logs burner assembly.

Remote Ready:
Remote Ready unit allow you to turn the gas logs on/off from a remote device such as a wall switch, wall thermostat or hand held remote control. You will still have to go up to the unit and manually do any flame height adjustments.

Electronic Ignition:
Electronic Ignition units eliminate the standing pilot that is involved in every other type of gas log. When you hit the starter on this unit it will automatically ignite the burner assembly. Because you do not have a standing pilot you have no wasted fuel while the unit is not running.

Variable Flame Height:
Varialbe Flame Height Gas logs give you all the bells and whistles you could ask for. If you like gadgets and remote controls these are the logs you want. You can have complete control over your logs right from your remote control. You can turn the unti on/off and adjust your flame height from the remote control. You can even get thermostatically controlled remtoes that will do all the functions for you. Just put in the temperature you want and the remote will do the rest and keep you cozy.

Thermostatically Controlled:
Thermostaticlly Controlled gas logs have built in heat sensing bulb on the burner assembly. The unit will turn on and off automatically depending on the temperature at the gas log set. The flame height adjustments are still done manaully at the burner assembly.

See-Thru:
See-Thru Natural Gas Log sets are designed for fireplaces that are installed in a wall between two rooms, which you can "See-Thru" the fireplace from one room to another.
